Single Leg Squat Test
In this guide we'll show you how to quickly perform a single leg squat test for your clients using GoXPro. To conduct a single leg squat test effectively, assess your client's movement quality focusing on hip, knee, and foot control.
Step 1: Leg raise
- Start by having the client stand on one leg, with the other leg raised in front at a 45-degree hip flexion and 90-degree knee flexion.
Step 2: Squat
- The client should now squat down to about 60 degrees of knee flexion, repeating the movement four to five times for thorough observation.
- Pay attention to knee positioning, hip stability, and foot orientation, identifying any imbalances or weaknesses.
This assessment helps tailor programs with specific exercises aimed at addressing muscle imbalances and preventing injury.
